• 27^th November 2008

  Blood Wedding was launched at Waterstones bookshop, Sauchiehall Street, Glasgow, at 6:30pm on Thursday 27^th November 2008. Phil and Jane read from the novel and signed copies. Louise Welsh, author of The Cutting room and Tamburlaine must die chaired the event and Carlos Arredondo played Republican songs from the Spanish Civil War and settings of poems by Federico Garcia Lorca. There was no charge for admission.

• 3^rd December 2008

  Waterstones Edinburgh (Princes Street West End) hosted an Author event at 6pm on Wednesday 3^rd December 2008. Phil and Jane read from the novel and signed copies. Carlos Arredondo played Republican songs from the Spanish Civil War and settings of poems by Federico Garcia Lorca. There was no charge for admission.

• 10^th December 2008

  There was an author event in Truckles Wine Bar, Pied Bull Yard, off Bury Place, Bloomsbury, London WC1A 2JR (near the British Museum) at 6pm on Wednesday 10^th December. Phil and Jane read from the novel and signed copies. Music. For those who wanted to stay on, there was a cash bar, and the opportunity to purchase a meal from Truckles’ menu, which included hand carved Alderton ham, fresh Devonshire dressed crab and poached organic Irish salmon.

  Author event at Heffers Bookshop, 20 Trinity Street, Cambridge CB2 1TY at 12:30 on Thursday 11^th December 2008. Phil and Jane read from the novel, signed copies and answered readers’ questions.
